Bio
Irina Jefimova is an Estonia-based fine art photographer. She has been passionate about photography since childhood and has been dedicated to fine art photography since 2023.
Inspired by the aesthetics of classical painting, she creates atmospheric still lifes and portraits that explore light, texture, form, and the quiet beauty of everyday objects. Her work focuses on creating visual harmony and emotional depth through carefully crafted compositions and a painterly approach to photography.
In 2025, her still life photograph was selected among the Top 35 photographs in the Still Life category at the 11th International 35AWARDS Photography Competition. In 2024, her work was exhibited at Imagenation Paris 2024 at Galerie Joseph Le Palais in Paris, France.
Artistic Statement
Photography allows me to transform ordinary subjects into poetic visual narratives. Through still life and portraiture, I explore the relationship between light, atmosphere, memory, and emotion.
Inspired by the traditions of fine art painting, I seek beauty in simplicity and in the subtle details that often go unnoticed. My work is an invitation to slow down, observe, and experience the quiet presence of everyday objects and moments.
Through carefully composed images, I aim to create a sense of contemplation, balance, and timelessness, encouraging viewers to find their own stories within the frame.
